Where is the Food Bank located and who do you serve?

The East Santa Cruz County Community Food Bank has served people in need of food in East Santa Cruz County Arizona from our Patagonia location, 772 Harshaw Ave, since 1994.

 

What programs do you have and how can I get food?

Supplemental Food Bag Program

The ESCCCFB distributes supplemental food bags the second Saturday of each month from 8:30 to 10:30am at our Patagonia, AZ location, 772 Harshaw Ave.  

Emergency Aid

Emergency food is available by calling the food bank at: 520. 302.4450. In times of sudden hardship or crisis, immediate assistance can make all the difference. That’s why the ESCCCFB offers an Emergency Food program aimed at providing rapid help to individuals and families in urgent need. 

Fresh Veggies for the Community

During the winter months, mid-November through mid-May, the ESCCCFB distributes fresh vegetables every Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at the Patagonia Senior Center, 100 Quiroga Lane, Patagonia.  Those in need, as well as community members in general, are invited to pick up vegetables and, if possible, make a donation.

 

Do I need to register or sign up to receive food?

No, you only need to be experiencing food insecurity in eastern Santa Cruz County, AZ.  We believe in accessible support for all, with no prerequisites for eligibility. Anyone in need can visit our food bank and receive food.

 

What other organizations receive food from the Food Bank?

The ESCCCFB provides food to the Senior Citizens of Patagonia, as well as the Patagonia Youth Enrichment Center and various faith-based organizations throughout eastern Santa Cruz County.

 

Where do Food Bank resources come from?

The ESCCCFB is a 5.01(c)3 Non-Profit and an Arizona Qualified Charitable Organization (QCO Code: 20164) which means one of the benefits of supporting us is donations up to $400 individual and $800 married couples receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit against AZ tax liability. 

 

We are also supported by grants from the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, OneAZ Community Foundation, South32 Hermosa, the Emergency Food and Shelter Program through the United Way of Santa Cruz County. 

 

Vegetables for our Monday Vegetable Distribution are sourced through: Borderlands Produce Rescue, Nogales, AZ
